But we still journey through life and have to face death, often with fears and worries: How may the later life years be joyful and free? What attitudes should we embody to face death? Must we leave a legacy in this life?
Four prominent speakers will share their wisdom on life and living during the post retirement and golden age years.
The Very Reverend Matthias Tze Wo DER
Dean, HKSKH St John’s Cathedral, Hong Kong
The Very Reverend Matthias Tze Wo Der has been the Dean of St John’s Cathedral since 2012. He is passionate in making the Christian faith relevant to people’s lives. St John’s Cathedral in Central is the mother church of the Anglican Church in Hong Kong. It offers Christian worship services in four languages and provides a wide range of social ministry serving 30,000 people annually.
Ven Hin Wai
Master Steward, Tsz Shan Monastery
Venerable Hin Wai is born and raised in Hong Kong and was ordained at Yunju Mountain in Jiangxi, China in 2008. Venerable Hin Wai is the Master Steward of Tsz Shan Monastery in charge of its external affairs and youth development programmes to propagate the Dharma.
Mr LAM Hon-Piu, Bill
Lecturer and Researcher of the Academy for Field-Being Philosophy
Mr. Lam Hon Piu, Bill is devoted to philosophy study and specializes in Taoism. He is a disciple of the renowned scholar Professor Tong Lik Kuen. Bill has great interest in the research of Taoist philosophy and Taoism and is currently a lecturer as well as researcher at the Academy for Field-Being Philosophy. He is also a columnist for many publications related to Taoism promoting to modernize the Taoist philosophy and concepts.
Bill graduated with a Master of Arts from the Research Institute of Chinese Literature and History of the Zhuhai Academy and a Master of Philosophy (Religious Studies) from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou. He obtained his Bachelor of Philosophy degree at National Taiwan University.

Prof Geoffrey Lieu is an experienced healthcare executive and educator. He was a director at the Hospital Authority. Prof Lieu is Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Institute for Health Policy and Systems Research. He is Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds visiting academic appointments in both overseas and local universities. Prof Lieu now focuses his work in advancing the health and healthcare of the elderly, teaches healthcare management and economics in tertiary institutions and serves as advisers in public policy institutions and non-executive directors in private healthcare corporations both overseas and locally.
